Sam, Nate, and Cash were fiending for a game of Stump. The three of them gently hammered their nails into the stump. Cash went first--he successfully spun the hammer with one hand--but he missed Nate's nail and chipped the wood. Sam went second; he expertly spun the hammer, and he cleanly hit Cash's nail further into the stump. Nate missed his hammer and didn't hit anything.
On their second go-around, Cash caught the hammer but he hit Nate's nail on the side, left it all bent up and crazy, and he chipped the stump again. Sam, cool as a cucumber, hit Cash's nail cleanly into the stump. Cash is out. Nate, finally, caught his hammer and hit Sam's nail.
On the final round, Sam followed routine, but he hit Nate's nail off the stump! Per their rules, he is disqualified! Nate, for good measure, threw his hammer into the air, caught it, and expertly hammered Sam's nail in. Nate is the winner!
