In a dish with bacteria, scientists are measuring the spread of the bacteria Pinky. Pinky grows to the adjacent walls of the dish. Over a day, Pinky has completely covered the top of the dish, and the bottom corners have stopped growing. The scientists implanted a green bacterium, Verde. The next morning, scientists came back to see that Verde had eaten through all of the Pinky. Scientists are impressed by the destruction of Verde.
