The elevator is going up. On the first floor, two people enter the empty elevator. On the second floor, one person gets in and one person gets out. On the third floor, no one gets in, and one person gets out. On the fourth floor, no one gets out, and two people get in. When the elevator reaches the fifth floor, no one gets in, after the people who are getting out leave, one person remains in the elevator.
